The photographer
Albert Watson (born 1942 in Scotland) is one of the most influential photographers of our time. His striking images have graced over 100 Vogue covers and appeared in countless magazines around the globe, including Rolling Stone and Time .
Watson worked on advertising campaigns for the world's biggest brands, including Prada, Revlon, and Chanel. His breakthrough came in 1973 with the legendary portrait of Alfred Hitchcock with a plucked goose – one of the most cited images of his career.
