We are pleased to be able to introduce ourselves and our philosophy. GutRaum8 was created because we love what is beautiful and special. We enjoy decorating our own home or helping friends with it. However, we often find it difficult to find the perfect piece - be it lamps , individual pieces of furniture or accessories . That's when we came up with the idea of opening an online shop for selected home accessories - and taking the word "selected" really seriously.
We don't simply order the entire range from one supplier and resell it. We look for inspiration and novelties , for the rarely seen and extraordinary. We travel a lot and are always browsing through trade fairs, markets and shops. We're all about unusual accessories that beautify a room in an unusual way, and original light sources that create a special ambience.
You won't find anything with us that we don't like. We certainly can't cater to every taste, but our own style and authenticity are more important to us than quantity and arbitrariness.
Because we are asked again and again, we would like to explain how the name of our online shop came about.
GutRaum8 stands for:
- the good and beautiful for the home.
- good rooms, i.e. rooms in which you feel comfortable and enjoy spending time.
- Room to breathe, room for ideas.
- the 8 corners of a room on the floor and ceiling, between which a large part of our life takes place.
- 8 as the number of harmony and energy.
