Fat Dining Chair – Polished black steel & red-orange Kvadrat Hero 2 wool
The Fat Dining Chair is a sculptural designer dining chair that combines comfort, presence, and modern elegance. Based on the iconic Fat silhouette, it makes a striking addition to both private residences and commercial spaces. Its organic form is designed to gently embrace the body, providing exceptional seating comfort.
The Kvadrat Hero 2 upholstery in red-orange, combined with the polished black steel frame, creates a powerful, contemporary effect in terms of color and material. The high-quality wool surface ensures a pleasant feel and durability, while the delicate steel frame combines stability with visual lightness.
Originally tested in the Coal Office Restaurant, the Fat collection was subsequently redesigned. The construction is now lighter, making the chair easier to move and more versatile for everyday use, without compromising stability or design quality.
Designed in the studio of Tom Dixon In Kings Cross, the Fat Dining Chair stands for innovative design, high-quality materials, and durable craftsmanship. The Fat collection follows the principle of "Hug the body" and includes not only dining chairs but also lounge chairs, bar stools, and sofas.
